Q-SAP™Quillaja Sustainable Adjuvant Platform is a technology platform combining learning techniques and a proprietary multi-step purification process.

Q-SAP™ proprietary technology enables Q-VANT to obtain adjuvant products from a wide range of quillaja-based plant materials, which can increase production volumes by as much as 1,000 times. Q-VANT is a pioneer in enhancing quillaja sourcing options and driving extremely effective outputs of high-quality QS-21 and other saponin adjuvants.

Q-SAP™ technology goes one step further to include in our research pipeline the development of novel QS-21 versions and saponin molecules with improved safety profiles, resulting in greater flexibility of use at higher doses and with less undesired effects.

Q-SAP™ combines a computational learning system in series with a proprietary multi-step purifying/fractionating technology optimizing the yield and purity of the QS-21 fraction (QS-21 INFINITY™).

Conventional supply: the bark story

To date, quillaja-based adjuvant development and production (including QS-21, ISCOM Matrix, Quil-A) has focused on a highly restrictive quillaja bark source and a narrow chemistry spectrum significantly limiting availability and functionality.
