Non-infectious diseases
Scientific studies hint at the ability of saponin adjuvants to enhance the immune system’s response, offering new alternatives in the fight against melanoma.
Cryo ablation + Saponin + CpG: Scientists studied a therapeutic vaccine to prevent recurrence in Melanoma cancer. Normally, after tumor ablation, the remaining tumor cells generate a new tumor that can be counteracted if the immune cells immediately adjacent to the tumor site are immediately stimulated with adjuvants. The survival rate is 90%; a promising result and one that has motivated different research groups to explore this therapeutic possibility in greater depth.
